Laptop Fails To Yield Vital Clues On Bali Blasts

Police hopes of extracting vital clues from the laptop computer owned by the alleged mastermind of the Bali bombing have been dashed. But Indonesian investigators said yesterday that despite this setback, the brief of evidence against Imam Samudra would establish that he played a major role in the October 12 bombing of two nightclubs, in which 88 Australians died.
